Shane and Sébastien Bring Deep Experience to Catapult SailPlan into International Waters
SailPlan is pleased to announce the hiring of Sébastien Knecht de Massy and Shane Biggi, who have joined SailPlan to facilitate SailPlan’s international growth with a focus on European opportunities. After expanding throughout the U.S., SailPlan is rapidly growing internationally. Sébastien and Shane will add essential expertise as part of our international plans and operations.
Sébastien is the former Director and Co-Founder of the SeaOwl Group and Madison Marine. He is also a shipowner with decades of experience in global shipping, oil & gas, and supply chain industries. He has a passion for the oceans and environmental sustainability and is based in Monaco.
About Shane Biggi
Shane is an accomplished international business leader with more than 20 years of experience in shipping, operations, and finance. Prior to SailPlan Shane was Group Director of Strategy at SeaOwl where he developed strategies to win oil and gas projects and led global expansion by partnering with some of the world's largest energy corporations. Shane is an avid waterman and is based in the UK.
As international regulations concerning the decarbonization of shipping continue to put pressure on the maritime industry through the EU Emissions Trading System, Carbon Intensity Index, and more, SailPlan’s real-time direct measurements have never been of greater importance.
